Take A Trip To the Wild Side at Myrtle Beach

The beautiful Atlantic shoreline of Myrtle Beach are known for a lot more than the sands and the waves. Amidst the lush green areas of the town, there are two places that stand out as the home of hundreds of animals. These of course, are the world renowned Myrtle Beach Safari and the T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station. Both of them contain several rare and endangered species. But they are far from any conventional zoos in how the animals live there.

The T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station and the Myrtle Safari are preserves which have tigers, lions, cheetahs, apes, elephants and many more exotic species. The Myrtle Beach Safari Zoo, in particular is a large preserve spread over 50 acres of lush greenery. Here one can witness large adult tigers running around, and feed wild animal cubs while they are on your lap. The Safari offers a notable tour, which provides an authentic wild African safari experience.
