Ultimate Hands On Experience With Rare and Endangered Animals

Image
Most human beings are in awe of the beasts of the wild and love to watch them on TV and maybe on a trip to the zoo. But do we all know how many of these species are critically endangered? Do we know how they have been hunted down and still are by our own kind? If we do, it is important to raise awareness about the importance of animal preservation. If you are keen on maintaining the biodiversity of our planet, it is time to act. We are witness to thousands of acres of forests being burned down every year, to accommodate our need for timber, palm oil and other resources. This leaves many animal species in grave danger, as their habitats are destroyed. The greed of some humans prompt other humans to become proactive towards protecting animal species from endangerment and extinction. The Tigers Preservation Station in Myrtle Beach is one of the leading destinations for the cause of global wildlife preservation. It is a great example of how we can make a difference in saving so many pr

A Jungle Safari for Wildlife Preservation Enthusiasts

A trip to the wilderness can be a truly unforgettable experience for people of all ages. A safari tour can give you that and a lot more memories to cherish for a lifetime. But what if you did not have to book a plane ticket to Africa to get the authentic jungle safari experience? What if it could be witnessed right in the heartland of the southeast coast of USA? Hello everyone. I am Bhagavan Antle, a lifelong animal preservationist and one who has dedicated decades to the cause. My organization Rare Species Fund runs global grassroots level programs for the protection of rare, endangered species. The Myrtle Beach Safari and T.I.G.E.R.S. Preserve in Myrtle Beach are two preservations, which are open to the public. These two organizations contribute to the Rare Species Fund, thus helping to achieve the larger goal of wildlife preservation. Spotted Hyena

Image
One of the characteristic predators of the African savanna the Spotted Hyena was long thought to be solely a scavenger, but it is now known that it is one of the most successful hunters. Its sloping features and ungainly walk, together with its eerie call have earned the Spotted Hyena a bad reputation. Long thought to be of the dog family the Hyena is now thought to have more cat-like features. The Spotted Hyena is well known for its macabre chuckle or "laugh", which is an indispensable sound of the African bush at night. The large head, sloping back and a keen sense of smell is unique to this species. Females dominate the social hierarchy and are larger than males. Females are 850 mm tall at the shoulders and weigh 70 kg, whereas males weigh in at 60 kg. The spotted hyena is yellow with dark spots and round ears. Externally female genitalia superficially mimic the male reproductive organs, thus making gender identification difficult. To know more visit: https://www.rol

Doc Antle's African Safari

Image
We're happy you are considering traveling to Africa with the staff from the Myrtle Beach Safari. Africa is a large continent and the choices for a safari may seem overwhelming. The benefit of traveling with us is that we take the guess work out of where to go and we take care of all the little details to make your African adventure worry free. It's little wonder that nearly half of our guests are repeat customers. The safari takes place in the north-eastern region of South Africa, in the province of Mpumalanga. Safaris take place once per year during mid-late November. This is the ideal time to visit because it is after winter and before the heavy rains of summer (remember, their seasons are opposite of the U.S.). Our destination is constantly counted as the world's top rated wildlife viewing destination by Conde Nast Traveler. We do not disclose the location because it is very exclusive and making reservations often takes us up to two years. Needless to say, the wildlif

You Can Make A Difference With Wildlife Protection Efforts.

Animals are just like us in many ways. They eat, sleep, think, play and do all the things we do. Really, they aren’t alien creatures who should only be used for our profits. But it is true that every species has its distinguishing factors, which makes each and every one unique. Respecting these differences and accepting them wholeheartedly is the hallmark of a good human being. We as a species, tend to overstep all limits, going into the wild, destroying natural habitats, entire ecosystems and killing all that comes in our way. This has been done continually for more than a century, and pushed many wildlife species into extinction. Many animals and birds are also critically endangered. To protect animals from meeting a bad fate, wildlife lovers like myself, Doc Bhagavan Antle, have joined hands with others. The protection of wild species is a goal which we all must contribute to, in order to avoid even more endangerment and extinctions. That is what wildlife conversation is all abo

A Wild Safari for the Cause of Animal Preservation

Our planet is a place of wonder and diversity, and full of different life forms. While all organisms live and perish, unnatural deaths can be fatal to biodiversity. That has been the case for a long time now. For many centuries, animals have fallen prey to the greed of men. Rampant hunting and poaching has made numerous species either extinct or endangered. Those endangered species need to be protected from further harm, to save their species from extinction. That is where wildlife preservation comes in. Across the world today, we can see many examples of preservation being undertaken. Numerous independent bodies, NGOs and governmental agencies are taking steps to curb all forms of hunting and poaching. While these are positives, there needs to be more participation from the average person. Doc Antle and his famous organization, the Rare Species Fund, has made significant contributions to the world of animal preservation. Today, it is a leading body that proactively works for imp
